april makeup basket rewind

thought of the month

some products seem to surprise me.  whether it’s the foundation i’m sure i’m going to finish that ends up not close to being finished, or the blush i think i love that i’m not impressed with.  these monthly makeup baskets have been a good way for me to use products in a timeframe that doesn’t make me bored with things but allows me to determine if i really do like something.

i set some goals to finish products  for my april makeup basket in my march makeup basket rewind.  now its time to see how i did

last month’s goals

• colourpop one & done
•  nyx conceal, correct, contour palette – top right shade
• nyx conceal, correct, contour palette – bottom right shade
• benefit porefessional – i’m not sure this will ever die
• estee lauder lucidity light diffusing makeup – 3W1 golden caramel
• chanel vitalumiere aqua – 22 beige rose
• urban decay anti aging primer potion  – this may be finished by the end of the week
• it cosmetics bye bye under eye
• jordana eyeshadow pencil eternal white – this may be finished by the end of the week but i’m not so sure!
• tarte glowlight

again it’s a you win some you lose moments.  some that surprised me and some that i’m impressed with.  i would really like to finish the chanel foundation.  not because i don’t like it but because its getting to the end of its life cycle.  i’ve had it about a year and a half and it was given to me by someone who probably had it at least 6 months.  at 2 years old its time to finish this.  the problem is i can’t tell where i am with it because of the packaging.  i’ve heard that you can hold a flashlight up to it and see where you are but apparently i’m flashlight challenged because it didn’t work for me.
