ipsy is a $10/month subscription service. you take a quiz about products – what you like, what you don’t like, skin type, preferences and then every month you get 5 products – usually deluxe size samples.
ipsy is a great way to play a round with a range of products. but when you have a collection like mine…well it’s just not worth it! not only do i know what i like and what i don’t like, i usually – not always, but usually – already have something i like better

Jelly Pong Pong Liquid Gossamer

- verdict: this is ok…its a nice liquid highlighter but nothing really special
SLMissGlam Boutique Blusher Brush
- what is is: synthetic blush brush – cruelty free too!
- $15.50 on slmissglambeauty
- verdict: this is super soft, a pretty good brush…not my fave but i wouldn’t kick it out of bed
Coolway Stronghold Spray
- what is is:innovative volumizing spray with humidity control, gives you all the volume you need and have it hold too. Now you can have flowing, beautiful hair all day long, without frizz! (ipsy.com)
- cost: $19.95 for 3.3oz at CoolWay Hair
- verdict: i’m not even trying this. i’m very very picky with hair products so this is going to a friend
Luxie Beauty Matte Eyeshadow Pan No 290

- verdict: this i can get down with! the shadow is soft but not too soft, pigmented but not so much that you can’t work with it and the aubergine colour is beautiful!
Smashbox Cosmetics Full Exposure Mascara

- verdict: i don’t know if i like this…i currently have 3 mascaras open so its not time to test this baby out yet!! but i’ll keep you posted!
